![]() Lavender is a perennial herb that blooms in the spring, growing up to two feet tall. The lotus has been associated with the Hindu god Ganesha for thousands of years and is a sacred plant in Buddhism, Jainism and Hinduism. ![]() ![]() The lotus plant is native to the Himalayas, where it is cultivated as a symbol of purity and beauty. There are many different cultivars of roses, which vary widely in size, color and fragrance. The flowers have a distinct shape with five lobes, five sepals, ten stamens and one pistil. Rose flowers are characterized by five petals, about fifty stamens, which give rise to a single ovary, in the center of the flower, which has many styles. They are all deciduous and belong to the family Rosaceae. They are native to temperate regions in the Northern Hemisphere, with around 70 species occurring in Asia and more than 90 species occurring in Europe and North America. It is a type of flowering plant in the genus Rosa, of which there are over 400 species. ![]()

Originally forked from Geary, Mail is now developed under the Elementary banner and is slowly being rewritten to allow for more robust capabilities ( source) but it's suitable for most users. Epiphany is not in the same league as the big boys and is likely going to not be able to correctly be able to display complex sites as well. Sure, you can install different ones from the app store but I think it's a waste to install something most new users are going to find less than adequate. While it's not a terrible web browser, it's certainly not something that's commonly used or up to par when compared to the standard Firefox and Chrome/Chromium browsers. It froze up on numerous websites I tried it on causing the whole system to lock up. The issue here, however, is that this web browser simply isn't good enough by today's standards. Elementary OS Review - The Web Browser (Epiphany) For example, the default web browser that is installed is Epiphany. When it comes to the default apps, the developers tend to go with those ones that are geared towards simplicity and minimalism. It worked without issue in all of my testing on multiple devices so I'm going to call it stable and solid. I'm not going to get into the Installation process here as it's pretty much identical with every other Linux distro out there and there's not much to see. Today, we're going to take a look at the whole picture in this Elementary OS Review. One of the key aspects, aside from the unique look and feel, are the custom coded apps and paid app store that are available with Elementary. Says Jaffer, “It wasn't until two years ago that we figured out what we wanted to do with the album. “Well, we did say that the last time and that was a couple of months ago,” quips Maaz, “but hopefully, we'll get it out after Ramazan.” And the young guitarist seems confident that it will be so because Kaavish has come a long way from when the band first started to work on this album some six years ago. After a long and tedious wait the album is now in final stages of production. They are busy at the studio polishing away track after track of their debut album, Gunkali.Īnd what a time it has been. ![]() Drummer Raheel is at work but was kind enough to speak to me afterwards, and he too agreed As a band, the last thing on their minds right now is fame. Sitting in Faisal Rafi's studio, I'm flanked by two members of Kaavish.
